Supervision is fundamental when working within the therapeutic field. Not only as a requirement by regulatory bodies such as BACP or UKCP, but also as a means to support you as the therapist.
I believe that supervision offers a place for reflection of you and your work, where you can feel heard and supported. My aim is to hold and cultivate, with you, a space where we can develop a working alliance between yourself and me; where you feel comfortable and supported so you are able to bring all of your clinical work; the work that you are proud of and the work where you feel there has been a level of challenge and curiosity; nurturing an environment where there is the potential for growth and inquiry. I aim to actively listen and engage in your therapeutic development and growth while remaining and encouraging a place of stability and consistency.
I adhere to the BACP Ethical framework and hold this as part of the container to work with you, to maintain and the professional standards so that you and your clients will be able to feel you/they are receiving the best possible and professional therapeutic support.
I value each person as an individual and appreciated and support each individuals therapeutic style while maintaining the professional boundaries of the therapeutic training, qualifications and competency.
Over the years I have experienced good quality supervision which has supported me both on a personal and professional level.
I offer one hour, an hour and a half session; fortnightly or monthly and top up sessions. I hold a Level 6 Professional Diploma in Therapeutic Supervision as well as CSTD Supervision for Individuals, Groups and advance supervision.
